SPUS EXCELS IN ISO EXTERNAL SURVEILLANCE AUDIT
In a two-day intensive recertification process, St. Paul University Surigao underwent an External Surveillance Audit by esteemed auditors, Mr. Fronie Aligway and Ms. Mary Grace Balobalo, both from TÜV Rheinland, on December 11-12, 2023.
The comprehensive evaluation resulted in commendable outcomes, showcasing SPUS’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
The audit revealed nine positive findings, seven Opportunities for Improvement, and an impressive zero non-conformity, marking the University’s fourth consecutive year without any non-conformity issues.
TUV Rheinland also acknowledged the University’s effective management system, emphasizing the institution’s continuous improvement initiatives.
In a closing statement, Mr. Fronie Aligway declared with confidence that based on the exemplary audit results, SPUS shall continue to hold its ISO certification. He expressed his commendation for the school’s commitment to maintaining high standard of quality management system.
The successful endeavor, which marks the 18th year of partnership with TÜV Rheinland, owes its achievement to the unwavering support and collaboration of key stakeholders, including the esteemed University President, Sr. Marie Rosanne Mallillin, SPC, the dedicated SPC Sisters, the invaluable contributions of both the Academic and Non-Teaching communities of SPUS, and the dynamic leadership of Dr. Nikko Ederio at the helm of the Quality Management Office.
