SABAYLE CLINCHES RUNNER-UP FINISH IN CHR CONFAB 2024
Dr. Maria Leah Sabayle, a faculty member of the College of Health Sciences, achieved the runner-up award in the Professional Category for oral research presentations at the 7th Caraga Health Research Conference.
The event was held on November 13, 2024, at the Almont Inland Resort in Butuan City, gathering researchers and health professionals from across the region.
Dr. Sabayle’s research, titled โDevelopment of an Outline of Contents for a Textbook on Infectious and Tropical Diseases,โ stood out among a competitive field of presentations, showcasing her commitment to advancing educational resources for healthcare students and professionals.
Her study aims to provide a comprehensive and structured framework for a textbook focused on infectious and tropical diseases, addressing a crucial area of knowledge for healthcare providers in tropical regions like the Philippines.
The Caraga Health Research Conference, now in its seventh year, serves as a platform for researchers and scholars to share breakthroughs in health sciences, with a focus on improving healthcare practices and education.
