BASIC ED OPENS LEARNING EXHIBIT 2023

Sponsored by the Senior High School Unit, the Basic Education Department opened the Learning Exhibit 2023 at the SHS Lobby on February 16, 2023, showcasing the different outputs from the Paulinian students.

The event was attended mainly by the Grade School and Senior High School students together with their respective teachers.

The Basic Education Principal, Sr. Emelita Alvarez, SPC, was also present and led the ribbon cutting ceremony together with the Basic Education Academic Supervisor, Mr. Ricky Boy Limlingan, and the Senior High School Assistant Principal, Mrs. Mary Louie Galaura, which marked the opening of the exhibit.

The exhibit was divided into different areas per department (Grade School, Junior High and Senior High School). On display were the projects of the students, which include scrapbooks, paintings, poems, posters, 3D models, and many more, which reflect their application to their different subject areas.

In an interview about the essence of conducting the exhibit, Mr. Limlingan said, “It is important to demonstrate the students’ competencies in their subject areas and also to be able to display their different talents.”

“[It also aims] to showcase significant learning, understanding, creativity, and applications of students’ concepts because they learn in particular disciplines.” Mrs. Galaura added.
