The Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology conducted an official physical inspection and monitoring visit at St. Paul University Surigao today, February 26, 2025, as part of their region-wide assessment of higher education institutions offering Bachelor of Science in Psychology programs.

The PRBP inspection team was led by Hon. Miriam P. Cue, PhD and Hon. Hector M. Perez, PhD, both Members of the Board, and was assisted by Ms. Glezza Ty, MMPSM, Supervising Professional Regulation Officer of PRC-ROXIII.

The visit’s focus was to evaluate the university’s compliance with academic, facility, and faculty standards, ensuring that SPUS continues to meet the quality benchmarks set by the Professional Regulation Commission for psychology education.

During the inspection, the team reviewed program requirements and laboratory facilities, assessing SPUS’s preparedness in producing competent future psychometricians and psychology professionals.

SPUS is dedicated to upholding quality education and aligning its psychology program with national licensure standards to ensure that graduates are well-equipped for both the Psychometrician Licensure Examination and the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
