As we commemorate the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, we also remember the young and courageous campus journalists who fell victim to the oppressive leadership of the Marcos regime and Martial Law. Their voices were silenced, yet their fight for truth and freedom lives on.
Today, as we celebrate the restoration of democracy, let us honor their sacrifice by continuing to uphold press freedom and justice—the very ideals they bravely stood and died for.
